The Eastern District NCPHA has a dedicated and strong membership made of up of more than 100 members. EDNCPHA is an affiliate to the North Carolina Public Health Association. Summarized below are our membership categories and information about our sections within the Assocation.
Shall pay annual dues of $35/annually and shall be entitled to all membership privileges, including the right to make motions in membership meetings and vote; to nominate; to be a member of one or more Sections; to hold office in the Association and/or any Section; to serve on committees of the Association or Sections; and to attend any educational session during the Annual Conference. We treasure all of our members, especially the life members. Benefits of a being a life member of EDNCPHA are as follows:
Requirements to qualify for a life member:
a. Be retired as of December 31 of the previous year.
b. Have worked in public health in local, regional or state position in the 55 counties that comprise EDNCPHA for 20 years and be a paid member of EDNCPHA a minimum of 5 years out of the preceding 10 years.

EDNCPHA is composed of Six (6) Sections. An individual must be a paid member of EDNCPHA to qualify for membership in a Section. On your membership application you can select one section in which you wish to belong.
